Probably swiss cheese, but where are you going to find anything like it for $1500.
Also I am stealing the Canadian Money Units thing.

Yeah, Meteor is what Ford called Mercury in Canada up until 1963 when they killed off the name, save for the Rideau. For some reason the Meteor Rideau lived on until the early 70s. The odds of finding an actual Meteor are near impossible. This is probably one of the few whole ones left. Not sure if they have any collector value though.

like a Canadian pontiac collector value is subjective, Rideau is below Rideau 500 which is below Montcalm. They also sold mercs here. The Ford line Was Ford, Lincoln, Merc, Mercury trucks and vans, Monarch, and Meteor. (also Frontenac for 60 only)
The meteor name went from 49 to 81, skipping the years of the mercury meteor. There are actually a lot of these cars around, they were popular (cheap) like Canadian Pontiac.

Interesting to know! As someone who lives in Central Ontario I rarely ever see any Meteor’s. I was always under the impression that they were more popular in Quebec.

In the context of Sask, everything was more popular in Quebec, the whole province only hit a million people a couple of years ago and we’re pretty spread out. But a lot of the cars survived. Still see Mercury and Fargo trucks on the road once in a while.
